Master the Basics

CrossFit workouts consist of three things: body weight gymnastics (anything pushing your body weight whether it’s push-ups, pull ups, sit ups, air squats), weight lifting (power lifting, or auxiliary lifts), and aerobic metabolic conditioning (short, moderate, or long distance). Form is important for each of these things, because more difficult moves often build off the easier moves. If you can’t do the easy moves properly, you’re risking injury.
