This pose will strengthen your abs and arms while tightening muscles around your hips (including love handles). It stretches your shoulder, chest, and spine and improves your balance. Hold it for 30 seconds on each side and then stretch backward, focusing on lengthening (imagine you’re stretching backwards over a big yoga ball).

Awkward pose, which is sort of aptly named, will strengthen your muscles throughout your body – arms, legs, core, and more. It will stretch and open your pelvis as well as feet, shins, ankles, and toes. Hold it for 30 seconds.
