The second event in the Elite Events Summer 5k Series takes place at Eagle Lakes Community Park.  This park features prime bird watching areas and scenic views throughout.  Spectators will be able to view runners for most of the race as the sun rises behind the runners.

Runners will race on closed paths throughout the park and finish under the palm trees as music and post race festivities await.

Post race festivities include the latest popular music, refreshments, and a variety of snacks.

Celebrate the 4th of July by running our fast, flat course! This is one of Naples oldest and best attended 5K races! This course is two loops starting on Fleishmann Park and winds through Naples Lake Park neighborhood. Super soft, gender specific race T-shirts! Coordinated by Gulf Coast Runners

This unique trail course takes runners through a shady maritime hammock ecosystem on a hard-packed shell path.  No part of the course requires running through beach sand.  The course ends at our pavilion overlooking the beach where refreshments will be served and awards will be presented.

The Battle on the Blueway will be held June 11th and 12th, on the Calusa Blueway in Fort Myers Beach, FL.  This sanctioned WPA points event with over $10,000 in prize money will feature three distance races (7 mile, 2 mile, and outrigger), sprints, a kids’ and Special Olympic race, a demo day, vendors displaying paddle merchandise, and non profits displaying nature / history materials and artifacts. This is a family oriented event with a festival atmosphere that brings paddling and Florida’s native wildlife and Calusa heritage together. Benefiting Lee County Special Olympics.

Proceeds benefit the Special Olympics Florida – Collier County standup paddle team.

The Cape Coral High School Band will be holding the second annual Seahawk Sprint for Music in May 2016!!  Runners will be greeted and cheered on along the course by our energetic High School Musicians.  The course will wind around the neighborhoods of CCHS and end in the stadium.  All of the kids that participate in the 1 Mile Fun Run will receive an award regardless of placement! In the 5K race, Awards will be given 3 deep in each age group as well as Overall Female, Male, Masters, and Grand Masters.  Post race, runners will get to enjoy fresh fruit, breakfast items and water!
