The 5K course includes a shaded tour of Florida SouthWestern State College’s beautiful campus.  Serious runners will appreciate the race bibs with chips ensuring an accurate race time. This race will be put on by the Fort Myers Track Club.  You can also run for the fun of it, stroll with family and friends, or bring your kids out to the kids’ dash.

Community festivities begin and end in beautiful, beachside Lowdermilk Park. Rides: 62, 31, 20, 10 miles. Walks: power walk to Fifth Avenue or bring your pooch and join the Pooch-Fit Parade down Gulf Shore Blvd.  Kids’ Events: bike rodeo, bike decorating, bouncy house, beach run, and kids’ ride. There will be fitness-fueling refreshments, goodie bags, music, prizes, a silent auction with something for everyone, fun vendor expo, and a delicious brunch.NPC member discount applies. Cash and credit cards accepted. This event is dedicated to community fun and fitness. Proceeds help support the advocacy work of Naples Pathways Coalition on behalf of bicyclists, walkers, and runners. Run or walk 3.1 miles through beautiful Lakes Regional Park and enjoy the sounds of the Cypress Lake High School Band. The band will be permorning at various sections of the race loop to make for an upbeat and entertaining run or walk. Post race entertainment will also be provided by the band.

Pre-event packet pick-up celebration
The weekend begins with a kick off celebration. Participants can pick up packets, maps, and t-shirts 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Enjoy a great start to the weekend at the new Fathoms Restaurant & Bar for a Friday night registration special! Show your event registration and receive a complimentary Tour De Cape appetizer when you purchase two entrees. Or, visit the French Press and show your event registration to get a two scoop cup of homemade gelato for the price of a single scoop!

5K Run
The 5K run/walk is designed for advanced and novice runners. On Saturday, check in begins at 6:30 am. Race time is 8:00 am. A continental breakfast will be available for participants.

Kids Ride – 5k Ride
Join us Saturday morning and register your kids for the Kids ride. Kids will receive a T-shirt and a hot dog lunch. The course is designed to be safe and flat and well supported by the Cape Coral Police Department. Great family start to a healthy new year.

Tour De Cape Bike Rides
Sunday’s bike tours offer varied routes from 15, 30, 60, and 100 mile courses in the west and north sections of Cape Coral. The event provides a continental breakfast, lunch, on route rest stations with snacks and beverages, SAG vehicles, Police support, and route maps.

We have partnered with Endurance Sports Timing, a full service timing company that uses the latest technology from Ipico Sports and Mylaps providing a great race experience from start to finish. Each registrant will receive a disposable bib with integrated timing tag for accurate and quick results.

Placement Awards and Give-Aways
Placement awards will be given to the top male, female, 55+male, and 55+ female runners. Walkers will have a chance to win various give-a-ways from local businesses.
