Whether we like it or not, sunscreen is in our best interest as the sun gets stronger while the summer heats up, but choosing a sunscreen is not as simple as it used to be. In today’s huge market, there are so many ingredients in products to help protect you from the sun’s rays. Now that summer is here and the sun is shining, I want to share my go-to favorite sunscreens to help you have glowing, sun-kissed skin and to help you stay protected. Whether you’re working out, going for a swim, or just taking a stroll, be sure to apply one of the best sunscreens on the market: it’s the best way to preserve your skin’s beauty and prevent skin cancer.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face & Body Stick Sunscreen, SPF 70 $11

This is an ultimate favorite of mine. The simple, deodorant-like packaging makes this product easy to apply and touch up. This oil-free stick is lightweight and provides protection again cancer- and wrinkle-causing rays. New York dermatologist Joshua Zeichner recommends covering every area with “four passes, back and forth” for complete protection.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid Face, SPF 50  $35

While it is a high SPF, the lightweight formula makes it feel like your skin is bare. It is grease-free and has both UVA and UVB protection. If you are anything like me and have sensitive skin – look no further.

Kiss My Face Cool Sport for Face, SPF 30 $20

This product is excellent for outdoor athletics. Focusing on the face, this sunscreen combines a mixture of protectants to help fight off UV rays. It soaks into the skin, so it won’t sweat off while you are being active; it also lasts up to 80 minutes, so there is no excuse for a break.

L’Oréal Invisible Protect Clear Cool Lotion, SPF 50 $11

Normally, the only time you hear the words gel and sun together is when it’s referring to sun aftercare. However, this clear sunscreen is just incredible. The product melts into a light oil and has no stick residue at all. I recommend this to woman with darker skin tones who are looking to avoid white streaks at the beach.

Palmers Eventone Sun Balm, SPF 30 $8

Calling everyone with dry skin! This brings your winter cocoa butter to the next level. Besides the fact that it will moisturize your skin to the fullest, it also smells heavenly—like a chocolate martini—so that’s a plus.

Coppertone Sport Accuspray Sunscreen, SPF 70 $12

Don’t you hate when you spray sunscreen at the beach and its gone with the wind? Fear no more, this nozzle hits right where you want it. It’s a no rub on spray and dries quickly, so nothings stopping you from staying active.

Shiseido Wet Force Ultimate Protection Lotion, SPF 50 $36

I hate going in a pool after applying face sunscreen. You take one dip, and BAM, it’s gone. Luckily, Shiseido created a formula that actually works with water. This gives you over an hour in the water burn-free.

Supergoop! Fusion Lip Balm, SPF 30, $9

You know what’s worse than chapped lips? Burnt lips. Luckily this lip balm helps to protect you from both. The Moisture and richness protects against UV-induced photo aging, while mint soothes dry, chapped lips.

COOLA LipLux Original Formula, SPF 30, $12

Hydrating and nourishing the lips, this formula is just delicious. It contains avocado and raspberry to soften the lips and balm protects with SPF 30.
