Ashley Jordan, one of my best friends, is an amazing cook who is constantly creating her own creations in the kitchen. I want to start posting new ideas with food so we can all learn to eat a little bit better and progress with our weight loss journey.
Here is her recipe for “Power Protein Peach Oatmeal”
1/2 cup old fashioned oats or steel coat oats
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp flaxseed meal,
1 tbsp chia seed,
1 peach (diced),
1 scoop vanilla protein.
Boil water. Put other ingredients in a bowl. Combine. Sometimes I put about a tsp of honey drizzled on top.
It takes 3 minutes to whip up, its super healthy, and keeps you full for about 3-4 hours.
