The Runner’s World Cookbook: 150 Recipes for Fueling Up and Slimming Down – While Enjoying Every Bite

Healthy Cookbook for the runner

Good For: Runners and triathletes, endurance athletes who go long and need the right fuel for distance. Includes a handy intro on how to eat like a runner (and no, runners don’t get to just eat anything and everything).
We’re certainly intrigued by recipes such as Long Run Cake with Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Frosting, but for the dairy free/gluten free/paleo athletes, it’s not a good option. Things like Banana-Oat Energy Bars and Penne with Turkey-Feta Meatballs sound enticing yet mostly waistline friendly. A good cookbook for the runner who needs a few new recipes to spice up his or her weekly routine.
