Start 2016 off right with a new indoor climbing facility!

We all enjoy the beauty of SWFL and what it has to offer to sports and activities year-round, but have you rock climbed?

Rock climbing is a wonderful way to stay fit, challenge yourself, and keep things interesting for the whole family!

Hang Xtreme is currently a mobile rock wall, but is limited on it’s impact due to lack of a permanent space. For over a year, Hang Xtreme’s owners, Bettina and Harry Zafiris have been pushing to bring Hang Xtreme – An Indoor Rock Climbing & Recreational Facility, to life. Now, they are reaching out to the community to bring this amazing opportunity to Southwest Florida.

“Rock climbing does not only bring together fitness, and total well-being, but with Hang Xtreme, it will bring specialty programs, corporate team building, and more!” Co-owner Bettina Zafiris explained.

Would you love to climb indoors with your children on a rainy or hot summer day in SWFL? How about a birthday party? What about incorporating rock climbing into the physical education curriculum? Do you think your employees would benefit from a unique team building activity? Hang Xtreme will continue to grow programs like these as they move into their facility.

With the development of an indoor facility, their goal is to assist in the development of healthy lifestyles and create a welcoming atmosphere for youth, adult, and family participation, while making a positive impact on the local economy. Our community has so many wonderful charities and Hang Xtreme is passionate about using the indoor rock climbing facility to raise awareness for these organizations.  Hang Xtreme currently offers fundraising, meaning continued fundraising and scholarships will be a component of their business model.

In 2016, they aim to complete the crowd funding campaign, to begin construction on the facility immediately. Let’s all show some support for this great opportunity for SWFL – thank you in advance!
